What We Do

Millions of people suffer every day from chronic (long-term) or acute (short-term) pain caused by any number of conditions:

Cancer pain
Stroke or neurological disease pain
Lower back pain
Arthritis
Shingles
Failed back surgery
Neck and back pain from degenerative
diseases or injuries
Chronic muscle spasm
Diabetic and other neuropathies
Neuralgias
Trigeminal neuralgia
Reflex sympathetic dystrophy
Pain from peripheral vascular disease
Chronic headache non-migraine
Repetitive motion injuries and carpal tunnel syndrome
Post-surgical pain

Over the years, we have learned a great deal about how to control pain with medications, surgery, and other treatments. Today, we know more than ever about the causes and mechanisms of pain, and medical research has produced dramatic improvements in the ways we diagnose and treat painful disorders.

Tell us where it hurts

When you come for your first visit, our physicians will take time to do a complete physical and a complete health history. By giving detailed answers to our doctors, and by using a number of tools, like pain scales, pain diaries and diagrams, you can better describe your pain and help us understand exactly how you're feeling.

Diagnosis and treatment

To accurately diagnose your pain problem, we may recommend neurological testing, laboratory screening, radiological examinations and/or behavior assessments. We offer dozens of treatment options ranging from non-surgical and state-of-the-art intervention pain therapies to medication management.
